I wish, (This statement means I know it's impossible, but in a perfect world) that there was an option separate from 'Newest' and 'Popular' that incorporated new, excellent pieces of work. 'Popular' is almost always just as much a let down as 'newest'. These days, I take an artist I adore and look through their favourites for other, amazing art work. I also seem to trust artists with nothing in their favourites less. I just wish I could open a new window, and it would have art that is excellent and I haven't seen before, maybe even some I have. I want the skilled pieces of art without being diluted by the 'popular' pieces.

It's getting harder and harder to ignore the stupidity on the internet. I don't just mean ignorance or differing opinions, but out right stupidity. The worst of it is the statement 'This is not art'. Try as you might, you can't explain to these people that art can not be quantified, by them or anyone else. Their belief is that because they dislike the image, it must not be art, when the face is, they simply dislike the image, and that's fine. Their belief places them on some inexplicably high horse, leagues above everyone else. And it makes me angry, and I do my best not to simply lash out, or use foul language, or as I thought recently j
